Start in Naples with a cup of coffee at Krystal's Kafe. Ride north on Route 21 through Naples. At the north end of Naples, you have a choice to take the "high road" or the "low road." Or maybe you want to go round trip and do both. The low road stays on Rt. 21 and at the village of Woodville you encounter the southern tip of Canandaigua Lake. The ride curves through the Bristol Hills from this point, starting with a nice set of uphill S-curves. Crank it on! At the junction with Rt. 64, stay on 21 North, and fly along the lake shore.
At Cheshire, you are pretty much back into the flat country heading for Canandaigua...
If you decide to loop and return via the "high road," come back to Rt. 64, turn right then immediately left onto the "high road," County Road 12. There are spectacular vistas along this road. Notice the fine old barns and homes with a VIEW! CR 12 rejoins Rt. 21 just north of Naples. Now's the time to stop for an ice cream cone at Bob's and Ruth's restaurant!
I'll have a two-scoop mint chocolate chip...
