WHAT: The Finger Lakes BMW Rally “Re-imagined”

REASON: We hope to see familiar faces and meet new people, as many were unable to attend the rally. Our desire is to share great motorcycling in the Finger Lakes area.
HOW: Through the work of a few committed Finger Lakes BMW Club members and riders this rally has returned on a smaller scale when compared to yesteryear.
GS ADV Ride: We have prepared an adventure ride that promises to be one of the best rides for the rally goers. This 101 mile ride will challenge your riding skills and will be with you for a lifetime. Yes, it is that memorable. Due to the very poor to no cell phone service at the campgrounds, we suggest you download these GPX files (one is a track and the second is a route). PORTIONS OF THIS ROUTE REQUIRE ADVANCED OFF ROAD SKILLS AND IS NOT A NOVICE ROUTE. ONLY ADVANCED OFF ROAD RIDERS SHOULD RIDE THIS ROUTE.

HOW DO I REGISTER?
Registration opens on March 1, 2026! This is a “Pre-Registration” Rally and is online only. Once you are registered, you will receive your confirmation by email.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO ATTEND THE RALLY?
$120 for two nights of tent camping, including four meals.
WHAT MEALS ARE INCLUDED?
Friday night (an American picnic meal), Saturday breakfast sandwich, Saturday evening Chicken BBQ w/ sides, and Sunday breakfast sandwich.
WILL “RALLY MUGS” BE HANDED OUT AT CHECK-IN?
No. Bring the oldest mug that you have so you can brag.
WILL THERE BE A FLEA MARKET?
Yes, please be aware that we only accept payments in cash. We do not accept payments made by check or credit card. Make sure you bring plenty of motorcycle items to sell. Finger Lakes BMW Club gets 10% and you can help other riders.
IS THERE ELECTRICITY FOR C-PAP MACHINES?
There are no electric outlets in the tent area. All cabins/bunk houses, for an additional fee, do have 110 ac electric outlets.
WHAT DO I GET FOR MY RALLY FEE?
For your full rally registration fee (day passes excluded), you will receive admission to the rally for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, entry into door prize drawings, eligibility for our Grand Prize, and four meals. There is a flea market. Also includes nightly live band entertainment, camping and motorcycle parking for the Rally site. Additionally, you will receive a coupon for a one-year membership in the MOA for non-MOA members (Just ask for the code during check-in).
ARE THERE SPECIAL DIETARY OPTIONS AVAILABLE?
During your registration, Vegetarian, Vegan or Gluten Free Options are available as well as the standard fare.
WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT ARE ACCEPTED?
We accept MasterCard, Visa, and Discover cards for registration. (American Express is not accepted). Purchases onsite at the rally (ice, water, soda, flea market, and day passes) are CASH ONLY.
WHERE IS THE NEAREST ATM?
Crosby gas station in Spencer (about 10-15 minutes). There’s also Visions Credit Union in Spencer.
WHEN IS THE EARLIEST I CAN ARRIVE AT THE RALLY AND SET UP CAMP?
At noon, it is Arrival time for the rally, so plan your trip accordingly. Before noon on Friday, September 4, 2026, only rally committee staff may enter the grounds. Rally set-up is a big effort, and the Committee needs the opportunity to get their work done in a timely manner. Please give them a chance to get the rally ready before your arrival.
WILL THERE BE DAY PASSES AT THE RALLY?
Day passes will be available for each day during the Rally. Price is $20 per person. Day passes DO NOT include food vouchers; please bring your own food.
DO I HAVE TO BE A MEMBER OF THE FINGER LAKES BMW CLUB TO ATTEND?
No. The Rally is open to all motorcyclists and their guests. Rally attendance is contingent on abiding by the rules and policies of the Finger Lakes BMW Club, and at the discretion of the Rally Chairs. We reserve the sole right to deny admission and/or remove persons from the rally grounds based on our discretion.
DO I HAVE TO RIDE A BMW MOTORCYCLE TO ATTEND?
While the Finger Lakes BMW Club Rally is dedicated to BMW motorcycles, we welcome riders and guests on all marques. All bikes must meet local noise abatement regulations and rally attendance is contingent on abiding by the rules and policies of the Finger Lakes BMW Club and the discretion of the Rally Chairs.
DO I HAVE TO RIDE A MOTORCYCLE TO ATTEND?
Yes. As parking space is very limited, parking for cars and trucks is only available for vendors and rally support staff.

I’VE ARRIVED! WHAT SHOULD I DO FIRST?
First things first: Check-in to receive your wristband, meal, door prize, and grand prize tickets before the rally. If you are camping, proceed to the designated camping area and pick a spot to pitch your tent. Meet your neighbors, make new friends, and relax. Once you have settled in, visit the Door Prize Area to turn in your door prize tickets, you never know what you may win!
First time at the Finger Lakes BMW Club Rally? We are glad you are here! Be sure to stop in and introduce yourself at the Check-In Area. Need to charge your electronic devices? We have you covered at the various lodges e.g., Main Lodge, Uplinger Pavillion, Smith Pavilion, or the Chapel, - be sure to bring your own cord.
Last, but certainly not least, start having fun!
HOW CAN I VOLUNTEER TO HELP OUT?
Lots of work happens before the Rally even opens. We will have a contact form available in the spring for you to use. At the rally, the Volunteer Area is in the Smith Pavilion (where you Check-In), and you can sign up to volunteer there. Stop by and sign up for a shift or two. NOTHING would happen without our fantastic volunteers!
CAN I SHIP ITEMS TO THE RALLY?
No. Unfortunately, we do not have an area to store or secure personal items.
HOW DO I REACH SOMEONE AT THE RALLY?
Cell phone coverage is extremely limited to non-existent in the campground.
WHERE WILL THE SEMINARS BE LOCATED?
We are planning two seminars now and have not received confirmation. Seminars will be in the main lodge immediately following the evening meal on Friday and Saturday.
WILL WIFI SERVICE BE AVAILABLE?
No. Neither the Finger Lakes BMW Club nor the campground will provide Wi-Fi services. Note: There is extremely limited, to “no cell service reception.”
HOW CAN I SHARE THE RALLY EXPERIENCE ON SOCIAL MEDIA?
We encourage all attendees and social media users to hashtag and tag to their heart's delight. In addition to the social media on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Note: please be courteous when posting photos when other people’s faces are in those photos. Share those photos and fun times! Share with the Finger Lakes BMW Club’s rally committee at info@fingerlakesbmw.org or go to our Facebook page and post your experiences.
WILL CAMPFIRES BE ALLOWED ON THE RALLY SITE?
Fires, including campfires, bonfires, and fire pits are allowed only in designated areas. It is prohibited to start fires in any location other than designated areas.
ARE THERE ALTERNATIVES TO TENT CAMPING?
Yes, for an additional fee, bunkhouses are available. There are nineteen bunk houses, a few of which have wash sinks, toilets, & a shower (most of them are open barracks). Individuals or clubs may rent a cabin/bunkhouse in total. You will see on the pre-registration form where you can reserve a bunk house for yourself and your friend or club. No need to pack a tent, just your sleeping bag and pillow. You do not need (or can't make) reservations for individual tent campsites, and there are many grassy spots available for tent camping in the designated areas. Please do not attempt to reserve space for late arrivals.
DO I NEED TO WORRY ABOUT LEAVING MY GEAR UNATTENDED?
Neither the Finger Lakes BMW Club nor the Lions Camp Badger are responsible for lost or stolen items. Public access to the Rally site will be limited during the rally, however normal precautions and common sense should prevail regarding your belongings.
WILL THERE BE A DESIGNATED QUIET CAMPING AREA?
No. The grounds are large enough that no designated area will be identified. First-timers should remember that earplugs can help make your night restful. We ask all rally-goers to practice common courtesy throughout the rally grounds.
CAN GENERATORS BE USED IN THE TENT CAMPING AREAS?
No. Generators are prohibited in tent camping areas.
IS THERE AN RV AREA?
No. Unfortunately, there is no RV area.
ARE THERE ALTERNATIVE CAMPING AND RV SITES?
Yes! Please remember you will have to make your reservations directly with other sites.
WILL RIDER TRAINING BE AVAILABLE AT THE RALLY?
No. The Finger Lakes BMW Club is not a motorcycle training group.
WILL THERE BE BMW DEMO RIDES THIS YEAR?
No.
ARE PETS ALLOWED AT THE RALLY?
The Main Lodge does not permit pets. All pets must be on a leash. Owners must pick up and properly dispose of their pet’s waste.
CAN I WASH MY BIKE AT THE RALLY?
No. Currently, there is not an area for bike washing.
CAN I BUY NEW TIRES AT THE RALLY?
No. You should always plan to replace your tires before you come to the rally for best results.
CAN I GET TIRES MOUNTED AT THE RALLY?
No. You should always plan to replace your tires before you come to the rally for best results.
WHAT IS THE RALLY FIREARMS POLICY?
The Lions Camp Badger prohibits firearms on site, including concealed weapons, even if the owner possesses a CCW.
IS THERE A HELMET LAW IN NEW YORK STATE?
New York requires DOT-compliant helmet use for all riders and passengers. Other New York laws related to motorcycles include:
- Lane splitting is illegal.
- Motorcycles may ride side-by-side provided they are separated by ten feet.
- Motorcycles must always burn a headlight.
- Riders must have proper eyewear if the motorcycle does not have a windshield.
- All motorcycles must have at least one mirror. Handlebars may be no more than fifteen inches above the driver's seat.
- All motorcycle operators in New York must have motorcycle liability coverage for bodily injury and property damage; minimum coverage is $25,000 for bodily injury to one person, $50,000 for two or more persons killed in any one incident, and $10,000 for damages to property in any one incident.
The Finger Lakes BMW Club strongly recommends the use of a motorcycle helmet by all riders and passengers and cannot be held responsible for injuries sustained on the rally grounds.
WHAT OTHER LIONS CAMP BADGER POLICIES DO I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT?
There is no smoking in the main lodge, Uplinger Pavilion, Smith Pavilion, Shower buildings, or any cabins. Filters and butts must be field-stripped and disposed of in the rubbish after being extinguished.
